1. Test Preparation

  • Inspect all welds for cracks, porosity, slag inclusions and other defects before testing.
  • Thoroughly clean tank interior; install temporary pressure equipment and connect pressure gauges & water injection lines.

4. Tank Top Stability Verification

  • Seal tank and adjust internal pressure (fill/drain water) to achieve positive/negative test standards.
  • Under positive pressure, apply soapy water to tank top to check for leaks.
  • Restore to normal pressure and observe tank top deformation.
  • No leaks and no abnormal deformation → strength & stability passed; structure verified safe.
