1. Test Preparation
- Inspect all welds for cracks, porosity, slag inclusions and other defects before testing.
- Thoroughly clean tank interior; install temporary pressure equipment and connect pressure gauges & water injection lines.
- All measuring instruments must be professionally calibrated for accurate, reliable data.
- Personnel must be familiar with procedures, implement safety precautions, and wear protective gear.
2. Tank Bottom Leakage Test
- Vacuum chamber leak test method: apply soap solution evenly to weld surfaces.
- Create negative pressure inside vacuum chamber and observe for bubble formation.
- No bubbles indicate excellent sealing performance of bottom welds.
- Detects micro‑leaks, ensuring no media leakage from the tank bottom.
3. Tank Wall Strength Test
- Slowly fill tank with water to design filling height and allow specified stand time.
- Closely observe tank wall deformation; inspect for leaks in wall and bottom.
- No abnormal deformation and no leakage → strength and tightness tests passed.
- Hydrostatic test fully verifies pressure‑bearing capacity for safe, reliable use.
4. Tank Top Stability Verification
- Seal tank and adjust internal pressure (fill/drain water) to achieve positive/negative test standards.
- Under positive pressure, apply soapy water to tank top to check for leaks.
- Restore to normal pressure and observe tank top deformation.
- No leaks and no abnormal deformation → strength & stability passed; structure verified safe.
