Pressure balance
The ventilation system can timely adjust the pressure in the tank by connecting with the outside atmosphere. When diesel is injected into the tank, the increase in volume will cause the pressure to rise. The vent allows air to be discharged to avoid damage to the tank due to excessive pressure; when diesel is extracted, the pressure in the tank decreases, and the outside air flows in to maintain the pressure stable, preventing the tank from being deformed due to pressure imbalance, and ensuring the integrity and safety of the tank structure.
Reduce oil and gas accumulation
Continuous ventilation can effectively reduce the oil and gas concentration in the tank. Diesel is volatile. If it is not discharged in time, the oil and gas accumulation reaches a certain concentration, which is easy to cause explosion danger when encountering open flames or static electricity. The ventilation system allows fresh air to continuously enter, dilute the volatile oil and gas and take it out of the tank, reducing the risk of explosion and creating a safe storage environment.
Moisture-proof and anti-condensation
Good ventilation helps keep the air in the tank dry. In a humid environment with a large temperature difference between day and night, if the air is not circulating, condensation is easy to form in the tank. The condensed water droplets may mix with the diesel and affect the quality, and also accelerate the corrosion of the tank. The ventilation system promotes air circulation, dissipates moisture, reduces condensation, extends the service life of the tank, and ensures the stability of diesel quality.
Guaranteeing diesel quality
The ventilation system prevents diesel from oxidizing and deteriorating due to factors such as pressure and humidity. The stable storage environment keeps the physical and chemical indicators of diesel within the qualified range, meets the needs of subsequent use, ensures that it can burn normally in engines and other equipment, reduces damage to equipment, and improves the performance and economic benefits of diesel.
