1. Reasonable site selection

2. Optimize foundation design and construction
Choose foundation type: According to geological conditions and tank size, select a suitable foundation type, such as reinforced concrete raft foundation, pile foundation, etc. For sites with poor geological conditions, pile foundations can transfer the tank load to deep solid soil layers, effectively reducing settlement.
Foundation construction: Carry out foundation construction in strict accordance with design requirements. Ensure the quality of concrete pouring and the strength and density of the foundation. During the foundation construction process, the construction process should be controlled, such as the vibration method and pouring sequence, to prevent quality defects such as honeycombs and rough surfaces.
3. Correct installation of the tank body
Tank body placement: When installing the tank body, ensure that the tank body is placed stably to avoid settlement caused by uneven local force due to the tilt of the tank body. Use tools such as a level to perform precise measurements to ensure that the level of the tank body meets the requirements.
Connection component installation: The installation of the tank body and the connection components such as pipes and brackets should be reasonable to avoid additional tension or pressure on the tank body due to improper connection, which will affect the stability of the tank body.
4. Strengthen post-maintenance
Regular monitoring: Set up settlement observation points and conduct settlement observations on the storage tank regularly. By measuring the elevation changes of the observation points, abnormal settlement can be discovered in time. Once the settlement is found to exceed the allowable range, measures should be taken immediately to deal with it.
Prevent changes in the surrounding environment: Avoid large-scale earth excavation, heap loading and other activities around the storage tank to prevent changes in the surrounding geological conditions from affecting the tank foundation.
