① Site selection and installation
The storage tank should be installed in a well-ventilated place away from fire sources, heat sources and crowded areas, such as an open industrial site, and should be away from direct sunlight to prevent the temperature in the tank from being too high and causing danger. The installation ground must be solid and flat, able to withstand the weight of the tank when fully loaded, to prevent the tank from tilting, deforming or even rupturing and leaking due to unstable foundation.
② Fire and explosion prevention measures
Due to the flammability of paint fuel, fireworks are strictly prohibited around the tank, and any open flame operations are prohibited. At the same time, it is necessary to equip complete fire prevention facilities, such as fire extinguishers, fire sand, etc., and check their effectiveness regularly. Install an electrostatic grounding device to promptly eliminate static electricity generated by liquid flow, stirring, etc., to avoid explosions caused by static sparks.
③ Daily operation specifications
When loading and unloading paint fuel, the flow rate must be strictly controlled to avoid static electricity generated by excessive flow rate. Operators must wear anti-static work clothes, gloves and other protective equipment. It is strictly forbidden to wear spiked shoes to enter the working area. During the operation, it is necessary to handle with care to prevent the tank from being damaged by collision.
④ Regular inspection and maintenance
Periodically conduct a comprehensive inspection of the storage tank to check whether the tank is corroded, deformed, leaked, etc., and focus on checking the sealing parts to ensure good sealing. Valves, liquid level gauges and other auxiliary equipment should also be maintained to ensure their normal operation. At the same time, regularly check the gas concentration in the tank. If abnormalities are found, ventilation and other measures should be taken in time.
⑤ Emergency response plan
Develop a complete emergency response plan to clarify the response process and personnel responsibilities in the event of leaks, fires and other emergencies. Conduct regular training for relevant personnel to ensure that they are familiar with emergency operations and improve their ability to respond to emergencies.
